BTS member Jimin, currently serving in the military, shared an emotional message with ARMY on Weverse, offering an update on his life and expressing heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from his fans. Reflecting on the past year, Jimin revealed how his daily routine has remained largely the same while acknowledging the changes he’s experienced over the course of his service. He also shared glimpses of his late-night conversations with fellow BTS member Jungkook, offering a sneak peek into their deep, meaningful discussions.
Jimin, who enlisted in December of the year before last, marked over a year of military service. In his heartfelt post, he acknowledged the passage of time: “Before I knew it, two years have already passed,” he wrote. “I’ve been serving in the military for about a year and two months now. Time really does seem to flow differently here.” While the life of a soldier has its challenges, Jimin expressed his excitement for the day he can share his military experiences with his fans.
His daily life remains structured around the demanding routine of military life: training, working, and exercising, leaving little room for anything else. However, there has been a significant shift in the content of his late-night talks with Jungkook. “Since the new year, our conversations before bed have changed a lot,” Jimin shared. “As the days when we can meet ARMY again grow closer, we’ve been discussing what we need to prepare, what kind of image we want to project, and what kind of life we envision moving forward.”
Despite the excitement of a reunion, Jimin admitted that the thought of performing again with the group fills him with a sense of apprehension. It’s been a long time since they last performed together, and even longer since Jimin was fully immersed in music and the stage. Yet, his commitment to delivering the best possible performance for his fans remains unshaken. “I’m a bit scared, but my determination to give you all the best stage has not wavered,” he wrote. “I’ll prepare diligently, truly… I’ll do my best to return in a really good state.”
In closing, Jimin sent a loving message to ARMY, expressing how much he misses them and the gratitude he feels for their constant support. “Please stay healthy and happy until the day we meet again,” he said, sending his blessings for the new year. “I love you. Truly. No, I mean, I really do. hehe.”
On the work front, Jimin’s last release, “Muse,” was a huge success, featuring several collaborations with renowned artists. His fans eagerly await his return, both to the stage and to his musical journey post-service.
