Jose Mourinho Sparks Controversy Again! Galatasaray Accuses Fenerbahce Boss of
Jose Mourinho grabs Galatasary manager Okan Buruk's nose

The drama never stops with Jose Mourinho! This time, the Fenerbahce boss has landed himself in hot water after Galatasaray accused him of physically attacking their head coach, Okan Buruk, following a heated Turkish Cup quarter-final.

The match itself was intense, with Galatasaray grabbing a 2-1 win, thanks to a stunning brace from Victor Osimhen. But it was the post-match chaos that stole the spotlight. As both managers gathered in the center circle near the referees, Mourinho approached Buruk from behind and—shockingly—pinched his nose! The Galatasaray coach went down clutching his face, and the incident instantly sparked outrage.

Watch the incident:

Galatasaray Fires Back!

Galatasaray’s vice-president, Metin Ozturk, did not hold back. “Mourinho first verbally, then physically attacked Okan. Where else in the world can he do this?” he fumed. “We expect Fenerbahce to take action before the federation does!”

Interestingly, Buruk himself tried to play it down, saying, “It wasn’t a nice move, not very classy, but I won’t make a big deal out of it.”

A Season Full of Fire & Suspensions

This is not Mourinho’s first clash with Galatasaray. Earlier in the season, the club accused him of making racist comments after a tense 0-0 draw. That led to a four-game ban and a £35,000 fine, which Mourinho is now fighting in court.

Despite all the controversies, Mourinho’s Fenerbahce is still battling for the league title. They sit second, just six points behind Galatasaray but with a game in hand. However, their Europa League dreams ended painfully in the Round of 16, after a dramatic penalty shootout loss to Rangers.

One thing is for sure—whether it’s drama on the touchline or controversy off the pitch, Mourinho always finds a way to make headlines!
