After a wild rant on X (formerly Twitter) that led him to deactivate his account earlier this week, Kanye West made an unexpected appearance at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9. A bizarre 30-second ad for his Yeezy brand aired, featuring West relaxing in a dentist’s chair.

“I spent all the money for this commercial on these new teeth,” he says, revealing diamond-studded teeth, before adding, “Once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone. Um… Um… Go to Yeezy.com.”

At the time, the only product available on the website was a controversial Nazi t-shirt, which raised serious concerns. The ad quickly gained attention for all the wrong reasons, with one viewer calling it “cringe” and suggesting that West’s “fall from legend to laughing stock” should be studied.

The ad also prompted questions about how it was allowed, especially after Kanye’s recent antisemitic comments. During this period, he also made strange remarks, including calling for Donald Trump to “Free Diddy” and sharing a clothing collaboration with the disgraced rapper. These actions have led many fans to turn their backs on the artist.

One fan posted: “If you aren’t a racist piece of s*** and you own any Yeezy merch, now is the time to burn it and boycott anything tied to his name. There’s no sugarcoating it—Kanye is a Nazi simp, he’s racist, and he’s a f***ing tool.”

Another urged: “As a fanbase, we need to boycott Ye. Stop streaming his music, stop buying Yeezy merch, and don’t engage with his posts. He needs to understand that an artist’s influence is tied to the people who consume their work.”

Even a Kanye fan page with nearly 200,000 followers, @DondaTimes, posted a message saying: “I created this page to support Kanye’s artistic vision, but after his support for Hitler and other abusers, I can’t stand by him anymore. This page will be rebranded in the coming days/weeks.”
