Actors Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela, and filmmaker Anurag Basu, who are currently in Sikkim for their upcoming film, recently met the state’s Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang. The meeting took place at the CM’s official residence, where he wished them success in their project.
A Warm Welcome in Sikkim
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the CM presented the team with traditional gifts as a gesture of appreciation for choosing Sikkim as their shooting location. He also assured them that the state government would provide full support to ensure smooth filming.
Anurag Basu, on behalf of the team, thanked the CM for his encouragement and acknowledged the help they received from the state authorities.
Kartik and Sreeleela Share Their Experience
Kartik Aaryan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome they received from the people of Sikkim. He mentioned how the enthusiasm of the locals made their outdoor shoots even more special. He also thanked the Sikkim Police for their assistance in maintaining security, which helped the team work without any difficulties.
Sreeleela, on the other hand, was mesmerized by Sikkim’s stunning scenery, vibrant culture, and rich traditions. She shared that this was her first visit to the state, and the experience had been truly memorable.
CMO Shares a Post on Social Media
The Sikkim CMO shared a picture of the meeting on X (formerly Twitter), featuring Kartik, Sreeleela, and Anurag Basu. In the post, they praised the film’s team for showcasing Sikkim’s beauty through their work.
The team has been shooting in various locations across Sikkim, including MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their film, which is yet to be titled, has been in production in Gangtok and surrounding areas for the past week.
