Kathmandu Rangers Signs French Midfielder for NSL

Kathmandu Rangers have signed French footballer Vincent Koziello for the third season of the Nepal Super League (NSL). Koziello has played for France’s youth national teams in the U-19, U-20, and U-21 categories. He has also played for French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice and German Bundesliga club FC Köln.

Vincent arrived in Nepal on Wednesday and has already been welcomed by the club. He is the fourth foreign player signed by Kathmandu Rangers. Earlier, the club signed forward Mohamed Buya Turay from Sierra Leone, goalkeeper Cheikh Gueye from Senegal, and winger Amadou Diop, also from Senegal.

Kathmandu Rangers, the champion of the first NSL season, has selected young midfielder Rohan Karki as their marquee player for this season. The team has also appointed experienced Belgian coach Patrick Wilde as their head coach.

From the second season, Kathmandu Rangers retained midfielder Dipesh Gurung, defender Kuldeep Karki, and goalkeeper Abhishek Baral.

In the player auction, the club signed midfielder Dinesh Henjan and forward Gillespie Jung Karki from Category A. From Category B, they added forward Ashish Chapagain and defenders Kamal Shrestha, Diwakar Chaudhary, and Anjal Maharjan.

Additionally, in Category C, Kathmandu Rangers signed Bharat Chaudhary, Mausam Magar, Pushkar Khadka, and Pemba Dorje Lama through the draft.
