Morang’s Kerabari Football Club has won the second edition of the Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Memorial Gold Cup.
In the final held on Thursday at the Janata Multiple Campus ground in Itahari-5, Kerabari defeated Lohorung Football Club, Sankhuwasabha, 1-0 to claim the title.
Kerabari’s Nigerian player, Alex, scored the decisive goal in the 15th minute. The winning team, Kerabari, received a cash prize of NPR 250,000, while the runners-up, Lohorung, received NPR 130,000. Alex from Kerabari was named Man of the Match and received NPR 5,000.
The Best Player of the Tournament was Pravesh Basnet from Kerabari, who won NPR 15,000.

All individual award winners received NPR 10,000 each.
