Kim Ga Eun and Yoon Sun Woo to Tie the Knot After 10 Years of Love That Began On-Screen

In a heartwarming tale of reel-to-real romance, actors Kim Ga Eun and Yoon Sun Woo are finally saying “I do” this October, after quietly nurturing their relationship for a decade.

The couple, who first met in 2015 on the set of the KBS2 drama Single-minded Dandelion, are turning their once-fictional chemistry into a lifelong commitment. Their respective agencies—Prain TPC and 935 Entertainment—confirmed the news on July 1, revealing that the wedding will be an intimate affair, attended only by close family and friends.

What began as an on-screen connection has blossomed into one of the entertainment industry’s most enduring love stories. For ten years, Kim and Yoon have kept their relationship low-key, away from the public eye, choosing to grow together in private before taking this next step.

In a joint statement, both agencies expressed their joy, saying, “Please send your warm blessings and love to the couple as they begin a new chapter in their lives.”

Kim Ga Eun made her acting debut in 2009 after being selected through SBS’s 11th talent recruitment. She quickly made her mark with roles in Style, Giant, I Can Hear Your Voice, and more recently, King the Land and The Potato Lab, which wrapped in April.

Yoon Sun Woo, meanwhile, began his acting journey even earlier, debuting in 2003 with EBS’s Environmental Squadron Zentaforce. He has since delivered memorable performances in dramas like Quiz of God, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Hot Stove League, and The Third Marriage.

From colleagues to lifelong partners, Kim Ga Eun and Yoon Sun Woo’s love story is a testament to lasting connection in a fast-moving industry. Fans can’t help but cheer for their happily ever after.
