The third edition of the KP Oli Cup Football Tournament, organized by the National Youth Federation Nepal, will take place during the second week of Falgun (February 2025), from the 11th to the 19th. The tournament will feature 10 teams, including A-Division clubs and foreign clubs.
The quarterfinals will be held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, while the semifinals and finals will take place at Dasharath Stadium, as informed by the President of the National Youth Federation, Kshitij Thebe.
The tournament will also feature world-renowned players for endorsement, as stated by the Youth Federation President.
The organizers have announced an open call for participation in the tournament, which will include A-Division clubs from Nepal as well as prestigious foreign teams. Teams from Bhutan and India are also expected to participate, according to President Thebe.
The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of NPR 1,511,111, while the runner-up will be awarded NPR 500,000. Additionally, the best player will receive NPR 100,000, the best goalkeeper and highest goal scorer will each receive NPR 50,000, and the best emerging player will also be awarded NPR 50,000.
Each winning team of a match will receive NPR 25,000, and the Player of the Match in each game will be awarded NPR 15,000.
The National Youth Federation has been organizing the KP Oli Cup Football Tournament for the past two years, highlighting the theme that “there is potential, not a problem” in the field of sports.
In the previous two editions of the KP Oli Cup, the title was won by Machhindra FC.
