A man who had been missing after not repaying a cooperative loan has finally been arrested. The accused is Krishna Kumar Aryal, a resident of Sanepa, Lalitpur.
He was caught by the Valley Crime Investigation Office in Kathmandu. Police confirmed that Aryal had taken a loan from Digo Tourism Cooperative Limited but failed to pay it back.
The court had issued a verdict on Ashar 27, 2080, ordering him to repay over Rs 11.5 lakh. Since he ignored the repayment order, the court had also sentenced him to 1 year in jail.
Aryal was arrested based on this court order and will now serve his time.
