In this episode of Kumkum Bhagya, the family gathers for celebrations, but tensions rise over forgotten birthdays. Smita’s devotion to Ronak contrasts with family dynamics, as Baa’s special day goes unnoticed. Prarthna’s thoughtful gesture towards Baa brings a heartfelt moment. The episode highlights emotions, family bonds, and overlooked moments of love.
Smita and Sneha have a tense conversation when Smita asks about the cake. Sneha accuses Smita of caring only for Rohan and not for her, to which Smita points out that it is Rohan’s birthday. Sneha dismissively brushes this off, leading Smita to reflect on how much she wishes Ronak were there with them instead of being in London. She leaves the conversation with a sense of longing.
Meanwhile, Kishan feels guilty for scolding Prarthna earlier and confides in Seema, expressing regret for being too harsh. He suggests that Seema’s reaction might have been influenced by Prarthna not being her daughter, but Seema denies this. Later, Seema seeks reassurance from Gayatri, asking if she had been too strict. Gayatri reassures her, mentioning that Prarthna understands the lesson and won’t make the same mistake again.
A driver informs Kishan that Madam has called him, and Prarthna decides to accompany him to see Baa. Smita reminds Kishan to properly perform the Pooja, expressing her hope that the family’s business will thrive. However, she clarifies that her Maunvrath (vow of silence) is not for the opening of the shop but in honor of Ronak’s birthday, showing her deep love for him. Kishan admires her dedication.
Baa, feeling sentimental, shares a letter she wrote for Ronak and asks Prarthna to read it aloud. Later, the two of them check to see if Ronak has responded with a letter, but when they find none, Baa stays optimistic that one will arrive soon.
During the Pooja, Smita focuses on attending to the guests, seemingly neglecting Baa. She arranges for the Shah family to sit in the prime spots while Baa is placed in the last row. Tevan asks why Baa is sitting at the back, prompting Smita to quickly move her closer to the stage.
Noticing Baa’s struggle to see Lord Krishna due to her seating position, Prarthna thoughtfully places a chair in front of the deity for Baa to sit comfortably. Smita confronts her about it but eventually acknowledges that Prarthna did the right thing after hearing her reasoning.
Once the ceremony concludes, Smita gathers the family to cut a cake in celebration of Ronak’s birthday. However, Baa feels disheartened because no one remembers that it is also her birthday. Just then, Ronak surprises everyone by coming home and reminds them that it’s Baa’s special day too. The family realizes their oversight and apologizes to Baa. Ronak then brings a cake for her, and they share the joy of cutting their cakes together.
As the celebration winds down and the family disperses, Prarthna picks up a fallen knife. In that moment, Ronak approaches the cake, and Prarthna’s dupatta accidentally falls over him. He pauses, gazing at her, and the two share a moment of silent connection.
