In the Kumkum Bhagya episode of 17th February 2025, Kishan experiences a divine miracle as he discovers an abandoned baby near Maata Rani’s statue, changing his fate forever. Meanwhile, Poorvi fights for her life against Monisha, Jasbir, and Armaan in a desperate struggle for survival. RV races against time to save Poorvi, facing deadly obstacles along the way. The episode unfolds with intense drama, unexpected twists, and emotional revelations.
Kishan, devastated and grief-stricken, prays fervently to Maata Rani when a midwife delivers the heartbreaking news that his wife has given birth to a stillborn baby girl. Overwhelmed with sorrow, he questions Maata Rani about his misfortune. Just then, the sound of a baby’s cry pierces the silence. Following the sound, Kishan discovers a newborn lying behind the Maata Rani statue.
Meanwhile, the midwife, who has yet to inform Kishan’s wife about the tragic loss, entrusts Surekha with arranging the funeral for the stillborn. Determined to find the mother of the abandoned baby, Kishan places the infant under the midwife’s care and embarks on a search. Despite his best efforts, he fails to locate the child’s parents. The midwife then suggests that the baby was left at Maata Rani’s feet as a divine offering, encouraging Kishan to accept her as his own. Torn but moved by the midwife’s words, Kishan embraces the infant. His wife, unaware of the truth, believes the baby to be hers and welcomes her joyfully, relieved to have been spared another devastating loss. Seeing the child as a divine blessing, they name her Prarthna at the midwife’s suggestion.
In another part of the story, Poorvi finds herself in grave danger, pleading for mercy from Monisha, Jasbir, and Armaan, who mock her desperate cries. She reveals that RV cannot live without her and begs for her life. In a desperate bid for survival, she snatches a knife from Jasbir and takes Monisha hostage. She quickly video calls RV, exposing their sinister attempts to kill her after she had given birth. Alarmed, RV assures her that he is on his way. However, Monisha manages to break free and retaliates by stabbing Poorvi, leaving RV horrified as he watches the attack unfold on the screen.
Armaan later seeks to finish the job by running over RV with his car, taunting him with grim words about his imminent demise and Poorvi’s tragic fate. But RV, summoning his last reserves of strength, fights back fiercely, overpowers Armaan, and rushes to save Poorvi.
Meanwhile, Poorvi seizes an opportunity to escape while Monisha and Jasbir are distracted. Wounded but determined, she reaches out to RV through a video call, pleading with him to hurry. However, Monisha and Jasbir soon recapture her. Ignoring RV’s furious warnings, Monisha stabs Poorvi once more, and Jasbir cruelly pushes her off a cliff. As Poorvi plunges into the valley, RV, racing against time to save her, suffers a devastating accident in his desperate attempt to reach her.
