The one-minute-ten-second teaser opens in a restaurant with a family sharing a meal. As the iconic Kyunki title track plays on the television, the mother recalls how the show taught them the value of dining together. When her son reveals that the show is making a comeback, she lights up and asks, “Apni Tulsi wapas TV par?”
That’s when we see her. Smriti Irani, dressed in a maroon saree with a golden border, picks up a sacred kalash and says, “Zaroor aaungi. Kyunki, humaara 25 saalo ka rishta jo hai. Wakt aa gaya hai aap se phir milne ka.”
The teaser ends with the big announcement—Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will return to television on July 29, airing every night at 10:30 pm.
