“Laaj Sharanam enters its second week of screening. Directed by Kumar Kattel, the film had a successful first week at the domestic box office.
In its opening week, the film was released with nearly 200 shows across the country. On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, among the films released, Laaj Sharanam earned more than Feri Resham Filili and Mayavi.
Although all three films were released together, none achieved the expected earnings. However, Laaj Sharanam has had a pleasant financial outcome. According to the Film Development Board’s box office report, the film earned approximately 2.7 crores in its first week.
The distributor’s earnings might be slightly higher. It is estimated that the distributor’s earnings report could be around 3 crores. This does not yet include the second week’s collection.
Neither the distributor nor the producer have released the first-week collection report. The opening was reported at 1.1 crore gross. This multi-starrer film is produced by the TV series producer company JPT Creations.
