Today is the final day to submit applications for the National ICT Award 2025 organized by Nepal’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Interested individuals, organizations, offices, or companies must apply before 5 PM today.
What Is the National ICT Award?
Every year, Nepal celebrates May 15 (2nd of Jestha) as National Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Day. On this occasion, the government recognizes the best contributors to the development and promotion of ICT in Nepal through the National ICT Awards.
Who Will Be Honored This Year?
This year, the Ministry will honor:
- One male recipient with the National ICT Excellence Award 2025
- One female recipient with the National ICT Excellence Award 2025
Additionally, separate awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Public sector
- Private sector
- Provincial and local level public sector
- Provincial and local level private sector
Two more categories include:
- National ICT Innovation Award 2025
- National ICT Startup Award 2025
How to Apply for the ICT Awards?
To apply, candidates must follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology or the Department of Information Technology.
- Download the application form or check the required format.
- Fill out the form with all necessary details.
- Email the completed form to ictaward@mocit.gov.np.
Alternatively, applicants can also submit their application in person by visiting the Information Technology Section at the Ministry.
