A 45-year-old woman named Pramila Yadav lost her life after being struck by lightning on Monday morning in Murchwar Rural Municipality-3, Maharajganj, Rupandehi.
According to Inspector Dhandev Saud from the Area Police Office, Murchwar, the incident happened around 6:30 AM while Yadav was planting paddy in her own field about 100 meters east of her home. She collapsed unconscious after the lightning strike and was rushed to Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa, where she died during treatment.
