Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Love and War is currently in production. Starring big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt, this movie has created huge buzz. However, just when things seemed to be going smoothly, the shoot hit an unexpected roadblock.
Love and War, Big Sequence Put on Hold
Ranbir and Vicky were all set to shoot an important outdoor scene in Mumbai’s Goregaon Film City. But due to unexpected weather changes and waterlogging, the shooting had to be paused. This scene was supposed to be dramatic and visually grand, needing special lighting setup, but the current weather conditions made it nearly impossible to continue.
Alia Bhatt Not Part of This Scene
While Alia Bhatt has already completed major portions of her part in the movie, she wasn’t involved in this particular sequence. However, the disruption still affects the overall schedule. Now, both Ranbir and Vicky have been asked to take a break until the shoot resumes.
Bhansali’s Big Decision
A source revealed that over 500 people work in the film’s crew. Many of them live far away and are facing transportation issues due to train delays and the heavy rains expected in the coming days. Bhansali, known for his high standards, decided not to risk the safety of his crew or compromise the visual quality of the scene. Hence, he temporarily stopped the shoot.
When Will Shooting Resume?
Bringing together three superstars—Ranbir, Vicky, and Alia—has already been a major scheduling challenge. Though Alia isn’t needed for this scene, the delay affects the overall timeline. As per reports, the shoot is likely to restart by the end of this week, if weather conditions improve.
