Former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal said he had no involvement in any wrongdoing related to the Patanjali land issue.

What did he say?

Speaking at the party office in Rautahat on Thursday, Nepal clarified:

“If there was any irregularity, it might have been done by staff members. I had no personal involvement.”

He added that his intent was to support public health by facilitating land for Patanjali, and he never imagined any irregular activity would occur.

Legal consultation and future statements

Nepal also stated:

“I haven’t done anything wrong from my side. I will consult legal experts once I return to Kathmandu and make a detailed statement.”

He emphasized he is not afraid of any case being filed against him:

“I don’t fear legal action because I have never committed any misconduct or encouraged any wrongdoing.”
