Actor Malvika Raaj, who is best known for playing the young Poo in the 2001 Bollywood hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, is all set to step into a new chapter of her life. After announcing her pregnancy in May this year, she has now delighted fans with some stunning photos from her baby shower celebration.
A dreamy baby shower full of magic and love
On Monday, Malvika shared a series of adorable pictures from her baby shower on Instagram. The celebration was themed around Mary Poppins, and everything from the décor to the mood looked magical.
Dressed in a short lilac dress with delicate white flowers, Malvika looked radiant as she posed with her husband, Pranav Bagga, who kept it casual in a blue T-shirt and white jeans. Along with the photos, she wrote:
“So we had a Mary Poppins-themed Baby Shower 🎠 There was magic in the air, sparkle on my dress & love everywhere.”

Malvika and Pranav’s love story
Malvika and Pranav got engaged in August 2023 in a fairytale setting in Cappadocia, Turkey, surrounded by colorful hot air balloons. Pranav, a businessman, proposed after the couple had dated for nearly a decade.
They tied the knot in November 2023 with a beach wedding in Goa. Malvika looked stunning in a golden embroidered lehenga on her big day. The couple announced their pregnancy in May 2025 with a cute Instagram post. Both were wearing white shirts and grey caps labeled “Mom” and “Dad,” while Malvika held a positive pregnancy test kit.

Malvika made her mark as a child actor in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham as the young version of Kareena Kapoor’s character, Pooja. After that, she took a long break from acting to focus on her education.
In 2017, she returned to the big screen with the Telugu film Jayadev. Her full Bollywood debut came in 2021 with the action thriller Squad, where she played the role of Aria, a skilled sniper. She starred alongside Rinzing Denzongpa, and the film premiered on ZEE5.
In 2024, Malvika appeared in the MX Player web series Swipe Crime, a crime-thriller revolving around a digital-age university mystery. The eight-episode show was well-received by audiences.
