A person who attacked the police with a knife in Kailali has been arrested.
On Tuesday night, the police arrested the individual who attacked an officer with a knife at Traffic Chowk in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3, according to DSP Kabindra Bohora of the District Police Office, Kailali.
The arrested individual has been identified as 36-year-old Tek Tamata from Dhangadhi-14.
He was under the influence of alcohol and causing a disturbance while carrying a knife. When the police tried to take him under control, he attacked them with the knife. However, no officers were injured, DSP Bohora confirmed.
The video of the incident has now gone viral on social media.
