A man has been arrested on charges of attacking a youth with a khukuri in Kalanki.
The arrested individual has been identified as 20-year-old Sushil Tamang, a resident of Bafal, Kathmandu, originally from Duipipal Deurali, Nuwakot. He was apprehended along with a khukuri, according to SP and spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora of the Kathmandu District Police Range.
He is accused of attacking 30-year-old Subash Rai, a resident of Katari Rural Municipality-4, Morang, with a khukuri on the road in front of Sita Petrol Pump in Kalanki at around 6 PM on the evening of Falgun 29.
The Kathmandu District Court has granted a five-day remand for further investigation into the case.
