A 26-year-old man, Keshav Rokaya from Jumla, has been arrested for impersonating his uncle in an academic examination at Janaprakashan Campus, Kathmandu-14.
According to Kathmandu police, Keshav appeared in the MPA third semester exam on behalf of his uncle Dan Bahadur Rokaya. The incident occurred on Tuesday, and campus officials alerted the police after suspicion.
Keshav, currently residing in Dhumbarahi, was taken into custody by a team from Kalimati Police Circle. He has been charged under education-related fraud, and an investigation is underway with a five-day extension order from the District Administration Office, informed Police Superintendent Apilraj Bohora.
