Singer and musician Tanka Budhathoki has begun filming his movie Man Bina Ko Dhan (Wealth Without Heart) on Friday in Balkot, Bhaktapur.
Before the shoot, a muhurat puja was performed at Koteshwar Mahadev Temple. Actor Saroj Khanal clapped the muhurat shot, while businessman Tika Budhathoki broke a coconut as part of the ritual. Child singer Ashok Darji and veteran actor Santosh Panta gave the first shot of the film.
The movie will be filmed in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, and Tanahun. The title Man Bina Ko Dhan is derived from a hit song composed by Tank Budhathoki.
Child singer Ashok Darji will play the lead role in the film. Other cast members include Saroj Khanal, Santosh Panta, Rama Thapaliya, Neeta Dhungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Bishwokarma, Rabindra Jha, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Binay Adhikari, Aryan Nepal, and Vijay Dangol.
The screenplay has been written by Shivam Adhikari. The movie, which is based on a social theme, will be distributed by Bankateshwor Entertainment. The producers of the film are Bishnu Maya Nepali, while co-producers include G.P. Sangraula, Laxmi Giri, Bibek Nepal, and Vijaya Pandey. Minu Sharma serves as the executive producer.
This movie marks the debut of child singer Ashok Darji. He was also featured in the original song Man Bina Ko Dhan, which brought a significant change in his life. He is currently studying in Grade 8 at a school in Kathmandu.
