A 35‑year‑old worker named Mangal Chepang, originally from Gandaki Rural Municipality in Gorkha, has died after suffering an electric shock at Mahadev Crusher Industry in Amjungi, Kerabari Rural Municipality‑8, Morang. According to DSP Kopila Chundyal of Morang Police, Chepang received the shock around 10 PM on Monday while performing welding work. He was immediately taken to B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, where doctors declared him dead. Chepang had joined the crusher factory as a welding technician just two months ago. A police team led by Inspector Krishnabahadur Khatri of the Area Police Office, Belbari, has been deployed to conduct a thorough investigation.
