A man has died in a wild elephant attack in Letang, Morang.
According to the police, 42-year-old Man Bahadur Limbu from Letang Municipality-9 was killed on Monday. He had left home around 8 AM to catch fish but did not return.
His family and relatives searched for him and found his body in the forest, about 5 km south of his home, around 9 PM.
Police said the nature of the scene suggests he was attacked by an elephant. His body was found lying face down, and elephant footprints were seen nearby. His bicycle was also found close to the body.
