A man who went out for a morning walk in Saptari has died after being hit by a vehicle.
According to the police, 60-year-old Ram Bahadur Nepali of Surunga Municipality-3 lost his life after being struck by an unidentified vehicle on the Kadamaha-Gaighat road section in the municipality.
The incident occurred at 4 a.m. today when Nepali was on his morning walk, and a vehicle with an unknown registration number hit him, informed Saptari Police Chief SP Dhakendra Khatiwada.
SP Khatiwada added that the search for the vehicle involved in the accident is ongoing.
