A man has died in Solukhumbu after being brutally beaten with a bamboo stick. The victim, 40-year-old Prem Kumar Kulung Rai of Mahakulung Rural Municipality–2, lost his life during treatment.
Who Is the Accused?
Police have arrested 26-year-old Raghu Kulung Rai, a resident of the same area, in connection with the murder.
What Happened That Night?
On Thursday night, Raghu reportedly attacked Prem Kumar inside his own home using a bamboo stick and a wooden baton. The attack left Prem critically injured.
Victim Died During Treatment
Prem Kumar was rushed to Mahakulung Basic Hospital in Bung for treatment, but he passed away on Friday morning.
As soon as the news of his death was received, police from the Bung post were deployed, and Raghu was arrested shortly after.
