Man Sentenced in Banking Offense Arrested in Kathmandu

A man convicted in a banking offense case has been arrested. The arrested individual is 39-year-old Ram Bahadur Bisht, a resident of Bhimdatta Municipality-1 in Kanchanpur.

Police deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, arrested him from Putalisadak, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-28.

As per the verdict of the High Court Patan dated Kartik 14, 2078 BS, Bisht was sentenced to a fine of Rs. 2 million, seven days of imprisonment, and compensation of Rs. 80,000.

He was sent to the District Court, Kathmandu, for execution of the sentence and has now been transferred to Dillibazar Prison based on the court’s order.
