Mark Ronson explained that he was in the middle of a mix when he decided to turn a stage monitor towards the crowd to boost their energy. However, he underestimated its weight, leading to two torn tendons in his bicep.
Blaming the Venue’s Sound System?
The DJ subtly hinted that poor sound quality at the venue played a role in his injury. He claimed the “house PA was so bad” that he felt the need to reposition the monitor himself—an effort that clearly backfired.
