Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, who made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with Sanam Teri Kasam, is set to feature in her first-ever Hindi music video, Tu Chaand Hai. Sung by Indian artist Akhil Sachdeva, this romantic track will be released under Novice Records on April 4, 2025.
The official poster and first look of Tu Chaand Hai were recently unveiled by Akhil Sachdeva on Instagram, instantly capturing fans’ attention. Sharing his excitement, he wrote, “Tu Chaand Hai—a special one from us to you. So excited to share this beautiful melody with you all, sung by the most talented Akhil Sachdeva. For nearly a decade, Pakistani artists faced restrictions on working in India due to the ban imposed after the 2016 Uri attack. However, a recent ruling by the Mumbai High Court lifted these restrictions, paving the way for renewed artistic collaborations between the two neighboring countries.
Apart from Bollywood, Mawra Hocane has established a strong presence in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
