The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) projects in Nepal have been put on hold.
After becoming the U.S. President for the second time, Donald Trump ordered a 90-day suspension of all foreign aid.
On Tuesday, Nepal’s Ministry of Finance issued a statement confirming that projects funded by MCC have been suspended as per the executive order.
Earlier, projects related to USAID had also been halted.
