Megha urges him to recall the events of the previous night, but Arjun struggles—his memory is blank. He expresses his concern for Mukta, emphasizing that she is his friend and that it pains him to see her in such a vulnerable state.
Determined to support him, Megha encourages Arjun to stay strong, vowing to stand by his side. She speculates about who might have taken the incriminating photos, but Arjun brushes it off, stating that photo leaks are common at such gatherings. As the title song plays, he holds Megha’s hand and apologizes, his emotions weighing heavily on him.
Meanwhile, Navjot, the mastermind behind the scheme, is unwilling to accept defeat. She confronts Mukta, asserting that she has already lost everything and that only she can change her fate. Mukta is left stunned as Navjot demands a decision.
Suddenly, a piercing scream from Navjot alarms Arjun and Megha, prompting them to rush upstairs. Navjot informs them that Mukta has locked herself inside the washroom. Arjun, panicked, pleads with Mukta to open the door, apologizing and urging her to talk. With Sikandar’s help, he forcefully breaks down the door—only to find Mukta unconscious, her wrist slashed. Overwhelmed with fear, he carries her to the bed while Navjot ominously states that if anything happens to Mukta, they will be held responsible.
The doctor soon arrives and treats Mukta. Weak but conscious, she apologizes to Arjun, who immediately takes the blame upon himself. He vows to stand by her and face the situation together. Later, as the doctor leaves, Megha advises Arjun to get some rest. However, he refuses, terrified that Mukta might attempt suicide again. Megha, seeing through the act, points out that Mukta knew they would intervene in time.
Haunted by guilt, Arjun recalls how Mukta had once sacrificed her love to protect his family’s reputation, while he failed to stand up for her. Earlier, it is revealed that Navjot had persuaded Mukta to stage the suicide attempt, convincing her that it was the only way to turn the game in their favor. Mukta, wary, warns Navjot against betrayal. However, Navjot remains firm, insisting that Mukta must go through with the plan. In the present, Navjot, pleased with the outcome, praises Mukta’s courage. Speaking to Sikandar, she confidently states that she will ensure Arjun ends up marrying Mukta.
The next day, Arjun faces the media, addressing the controversy. He declares that Mukta is his friend and that he will take full responsibility for the situation. A reporter presses him, asking whether he intends to marry Mukta and if Megha, as his wife, supports this. Megha, unwavering, asserts that she will stand by Arjun no matter what. Another journalist compares Arjun’s predicament to the infamous KP scandal, provoking Arjun’s fury. Unable to contain his anger, he lashes out and physically assaults the reporter.
Later, Megha visits Kirpal at the police station. Burdened with regret, Kirpal confesses that he has made a mess of everything. He then reveals that his friend suspects an insider’s involvement—most likely Navjot or Sikandar.
Determined to uncover the truth, Megha confronts Navjot, demanding to know how she could manipulate Arjun like this. However, Navjot remains unfazed, arrogantly boasting about how easily she twisted Mukta’s emotions to serve her plan.
