Mikel Merino scored twice in the final ten minutes as Arsenal defeated Leicester City 2-0 in the English Premier League.
In Saturday eveningโs match, Arsenal secured an away victory over Leicester.
Leicester held Arsenal to a goalless draw for 80 minutes at their home ground, but Merino broke the deadlock in the 81st minute. He then scored his second goal in the 87th minute, sealing three points for Arsenal.
With this win, second-placed Arsenal now has 53 points from 25 matches. They are still four points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have played one game less. Leicester, with 17 points, remains in 19th place.
