The body of a 3-year-old boy who had been missing for 10 days was found in a stream near Tedha village, Birgunj-32.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subhadra Waiba of the Simara Area Police Office, the child, Anshu Jaiswal, was found face-down in the Siyasoti stream on Saturday.
Anshu, who was unable to speak, had gone missing on January 31 after going out to play near his maternal grandparents’ house in Jitpur, where he had been staying. His father, Ritesh Jaiswal, had left him there because his wife had recently given birth. The family is originally from Durga Bhawani Rural Municipality-1 in Rautahat.
