The body of Bhojan Bahadur Shahi, who went missing while fishing in the Tila River on Saturday, was found on Sunday afternoon. According to the police, his body was discovered about 100 meters downstream, submerged in the river.
Shahi, a 24-year-old resident of Tilagufa-4, Rachuli, had gone to check his fishing trap in the river on Saturday morning when he slipped and fell. A search operation was carried out by local police, armed police, and residents. District Police Office spokesperson, Inspector Govinda Prasad Chaudhary, said the search began early Sunday morning, and the body was found at around 1 PM.
Shahi was a Class 12 student at Kalika Secondary School, Rachuli.
