Mohit Chauhan turned Taarangana’25, the annual cultural festival of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), into an exciting musical event! Around 8,000 students from different colleges in Delhi came together to enjoy his electrifying performance. The night was full of energy as Chauhan sang some of his most famous songs like Masakali (Delhi-6, 2009), Sadda Haq (Rockstar, 2011), and Tum Se Hi (Jab We Met, 2007). The audience cheered, sang along, and waved their hands in the air, making it a night to remember at the Kashmere Gate campus, which turned into a concert venue.
A Dream Come True for Fans
The excitement in the crowd was unbelievable! Some students even brought posters saying, “Mohit sir, I want to sing for you!” The love for his music was clear as fans sang every word along with him.
After the performance, Mohit Chauhan shared his happiness: “It was amazing to sing at the Taarangana festival. The energy was incredible, and everyone was singing with me. I feel truly blessed!”
The Magic of Masakali
Astha Ojha, a first-year MBA student, expressed her joy: “I have loved his songs since I was a child. Seeing him perform live was like a dream!”
The biggest moment of the night came when Mohit started singing Masakali. The crowd erupted in cheers, and everyone danced to the iconic tune. “I knew he had to sing this song here!” said Rhiti Gupta, a final-year student from Gargi College, as she danced along with the crowd.
