A young mother and her two-year-old daughter were found dead in their home in Godawari Municipality-11, Gothan, on Thursday evening.
According to the District Police Office, 24-year-old Mira Kami and her daughter, Princi, were discovered hanging inside their house at around 7:30 PM. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara confirmed the incident, stating that the police were informed after Mira’s brother-in-law, Naresh BK, found them.
Mira’s husband is currently in India for work, and at the time of the incident, her mother-in-law was also not at home, police said. The bodies have been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the case to determine what led to the tragic deaths. Meanwhile, the incident has left the local community in shock, with neighbors struggling to come to terms with what happened. Police have urged people to remain patient as they continue their inquiry.
