A motorcyclist has died in an accident near Geta Medical College in Kailali.
The accident occurred on Sunday night in front of Geta Medical College along the Attariya-Dhangadhi six-lane road section. The motorcycle, bearing registration number SuPa Pra 01009 Pa 1251, met with an accident, resulting in the death of its rider, 32-year-old Rajendra Subedi from Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-4, according to the police.
District Police Office spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara, stated that Subedi sustained serious injuries and passed away during treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital. His body has been kept at the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Janak Rokaya, a resident of Budhinanda Municipality-4, Bajura, who was riding pillion, sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.
