Police have arrested a gang involved in motorcycle theft in Biratnagar. After six motorcycles were stolen in the past six days, the police started an investigation and caught two people on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, three motorcycles were stolen from around Koshi Hospital alone. While searching for a motorcycle stolen from the hospital on Tuesday, police arrested two suspects near the Nepal-India border.
The arrested are 25-year-old Mohammad Miya and a 17-year-old boy, both from Biratnagar-17. Police are still searching for other members of the gang.
This group used to steal motorcycles from Biratnagar and sell them in India. On Tuesday afternoon, the two suspects had just returned after delivering a stolen bike to India and were trying to steal another one when they were caught by the police.
