In response, Mumbai Indians chased down the target comfortably, scoring 146/3 in 15.4 overs. Rohit Sharma played a significant role, scoring 70 runs off 46 balls. Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten with 40 runs.

With this win, MI moved up to third place in the IPL 2025 points table, accumulating 10 points from nine matches. SRH remained in the ninth position with four points from eight matches, making their playoff chances slim.
