Nepal Army secured their place in the final of the Nepal National Hockey Tournament with a powerful 6-0 win over debut team APF Club in the semi-final held at Chyasal Ground. Kashi Raj Rai scored a hat-trick, Rajendra Karki added two goals, and Pradeep Rajbanshi contributed one. Dev Singh Dhami was named Player of the Match.
Army eyes double title win
With this win, Nepal Army now aims for a double title. They had already won the women’s title on Monday by defeating Gandaki Province in the final of the women’s category of the nepal national hockey tournament.
Gandaki Province edge past Nepal Police in penalties
In the second semi-final, Gandaki Province beat Nepal Police in a tense penalty shootout with a 2-1 score after a goalless regular time. Josan Rai was declared Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.

For Gandaki, Sangam Gharti Magar and Ashim Bahikal scored in the shootout. However, Bibek Gurung, Kushal Nepali, and Sonu Khan missed their chances. On the Nepal Police side, only Suraj Bohara managed to score. Navaraj Khatri, Suresh Prasad Joshi, Ayush Shah, and Sunil Rana failed to convert their penalties.
