Nepal’s women’s cricket team had a tough start to their first-ever Under-19 World Cup match. Batting first against Bangladesh, the Nepali team could only manage to score 52 runs in 18.2 overs.
Nepal’s openers struggled to get going, and only Sana Pravin could manage to score 19 runs. The other batters found it difficult to score runs against the Bangladeshi bowlers.
With such a low score, Nepal has set a small target for Bangladesh to chase. It will be a tough task for the Nepali team to defend this small total.
