Nepal Sets 74-Run Target

In the ongoing ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup cricket tournament in Malaysia, Nepal has set a target of 74 runs for Scotland in their second match today.

Batting first after winning the toss at the UKM Oval Cricket Ground, Nepal was all out for 73 runs in 18.5 overs. Captain Puja Mahato was the top scorer for Nepal, contributing 27 runs off 43 balls with three boundaries. Similarly, Sabitri Dhami added 10 runs. None of the other players managed to reach double digits.

In bowling, Scotland’s Maisie MaCeira took an impressive five wickets. Amy Baldai and Nayma Sheikh grabbed two wickets each, while Kristie Mackay took one.

Scotland is currently batting in response to Nepal’s target.
