In the previous Asia Qualifier held in 2023, Nepal secured a thrilling seven-run victory over the UAE, thanks to Dipesh Kandel’s exceptional performance, which included a hat-trick. This win earned Nepal a spot in the 2024 U-19 World Cup.
Afghanistan Poses a New Challenge
This year, Afghanistan joins the Asia Qualifier, adding a significant challenge for Nepal. Prior to the qualifier, Nepal and Afghanistan played a three-match series at the Mulpani Cricket Ground. Afghanistan won the series 2-1, indicating strong competition ahead.
Five Teams Compete for a Single Spot
