In the first match, held at 3:00 PM yesterday, Sankata Club delivered a surprise by defeating Church Boys United with a decisive 3-0 victory. Church Boys, who were expected to win due to having standout players like Ananta Tamang and Under-20 star Sameer Tamang, fell short against Sankata’s dominant performance. With this win, Sankata secured their place in the semifinals.
