The Nepal national football team has returned home after completing their matches in Malaysia, including an international friendly and an AFC Asian Cup qualifier.
Team Arrives in Nepal
According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the team landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday night at 8 PM via Batik Air. ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah and other officials welcomed the players at the airport.
Victory Against Singapore
During the tour, Nepal played a friendly match against Singapore and secured a historic 1-0 victory on their home ground. This was Nepal’s first-ever win against Singapore, marking a significant achievement for the team.
Defeat Against Malaysia
In the AFC Asian Cup qualifier, Nepal faced Malaysia on their home turf but suffered a 2-0 defeat. Despite the loss, the team gained valuable experience from the match.
The tour provided Nepal with crucial international exposure, and the team now looks forward to future challenges.
