The upcoming Nepali movie ‘PariWAR’ was officially announced on Friday with a special auspicious ceremony. Directed by Madan Thapa, the film has now started its shooting.
According to the producers, most of the shooting will take place in Kathmandu, while some scenes will be filmed outside the valley. Director Madan Thapa has previously directed the film ‘Bato: Road to Death’ and also worked as a creative director in the upcoming movie ‘Abhimanyu: Chapter-1’, which is releasing on Bhadra 27.
A Poster That Hints at Conflict
The announcement poster has raised curiosity among viewers. It shows four silhouettes — one man, two women, and a child — suggesting a possible story involving two wives. The poster also includes a dog and a cat, hinting at possible tensions and conflicts within the family.
Title with a Hidden Message
The film’s title is cleverly designed — the word ‘Pari’ is written in Nepali script, while the remaining part ‘WAR’ is in English. This unique combination hints at hidden struggles within a family, showing that the story might focus on family disputes and emotional conflicts.
So far, the makers have not revealed the cast of the movie.
