Nepal Rastra Bank has released 1 million new banknotes of Rs. 10 denomination starting today (Asar 2, 2082). The notes will be in the same size and color as earlier ones, ranging in serial numbers from D32 000001 to P94 999999.
On the front side, the note features Mount Everest on the left and a watermark of the national flower, Rhododendron, on the right. It carries the signature of former Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, with the year 2081 BS printed at the bottom.
The reverse side includes “Nepal Rastra Bank” in English at the top, an image of a blackbuck (krishnasar) in the center, and “Rupees Ten” with the issuance year printed at the bottom.
