A newborn baby’s body was found at a dumping site in Ward 11 of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City. According to DSP Bijaya Raj Pandit, the head of the Butwal Area Police Office, the body was discovered at the garbage disposal site in Majuwa on Tuesday morning.
Pandit stated that the baby appeared to have been born recently, possibly discarded after birth. Locals reported the discovery of the baby’s body to the police. The body has been sent to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for post-mortem, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
