Two Chinese nationals have been arrested in Thamel with 2 kilograms of gold and cash worth Rs. 2.4 million.
According to the Valley Crime Investigation Office, the arrested individuals are identified as 34-year-old Sumei Zhou and 46-year-old Chunlin Than, both residents of Sichuan, China.
The arrest took place on Monday evening at a Chinese named hotel located in Jyatha, Thamel.
Police have confirmed that further investigation is ongoing.
