A tragic incident occurred in Kailali where a three-year-old boy drowned in a pond.
According to police, the incident took place in Shankarpur, Gauriganga Municipality-9, where young Kushal Khanal, aged 3, lost his life after falling into a pond.
The pond was located within the premises of Buddhiraj Agro Farm, operated by Buddhiraj Khanal. As reported by Malakheti Area Police Office, the boy drowned around 11 a.m. on Friday while playing near the water collection area.
Police rescued the child in an unconscious state and rushed him to Seti Provincial Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
